I need a fallback for IE8 and IE9 for the following CSS:
.text-col {
column-count: 3;
column-gap: 2.127659574%;
}
This is for template that will be used in a CMS, so I cannot manually set the text into columns. It needs to be done through a class on the containing div:
<div id="intro" class="text-col">
<p>Text...</p>
<p>Text...</p>
<p>Text...</p>
</div>
You can see a demo of this here:

Other considerations:
- It is important the the column gap can be specified as a % rather than in pixels.
- The site is responsive, so for browser widths 770px and less, the column-count is changed to 1 to remove the columns
