Casual Text Adventure

Bid is for 1-2 text adventures to begin with, depending on how many options and different endings you require. I'm an experienced writer with two degrees in English Literature, including several creative writing modules. I am good at writing short fiction and received a first in my "microfiction" module. My time is flexible and I am a quick writer

I am an excellent story creator. I quite enjoyed the 'choose-your-own-adventure' series growing up, so I am quite familiar with the concept. I can create stories on various topics: getting a crush at high school to like you (which can offer several options for the crush so that it fits anyone), going through the experience of a car crash, preparing a birthday party for a beloved cousin, getting through the first day of college, etc. (Those are just a few ideas off the top of my head). I don't know the technical side of it, but I've written quite a few stories, as well as other things, including something along these lines before (but it was on an older site and has since been deleted). I can promise that you will get great quality from me, as I've done a lot of freelance work on another site (Odesk), and always deliver top quality in a short amount of time. Story telling is my forte. Something top of my mind whether I am presenting, writing or conversing. Below is an extract that will hopefully show you why I am the person you need! ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I walk down the rich corridor – the lightning set to a cool warmth, the rugs a maroon and gold. Around the corner is a vase, about my height. I stop to admire it. And then move on. The time is up, the dream is over. I am heading back to Sydney this afternoon leaving behind Bill Bryson’s sun baked land. Uluru has moved me in ways I had not expected. 48 hours ago I would not have believed it - I had booked an expensive holiday, and climbed into a plane that felt like it was going to fall apart in mid air. With an aisle consisting of 4 seats, I was pretty sure this was a big rip off. It literally was an air’bus’. And as I climbed onto the plane, and the wheels creaked we lifted on the ground, I thought – “Why am I doing this? …Really, its only a rock.” Its not. And it is. It is one solid piece of rock - a monolith. Only a tiny part of which is above the ground. Like a glacier. And it emits power and grace like one. And mysticism. Of the thousands of native Australians that lived there. This is their sacred ground and you cannot help but feel like you are trespassing.

I am a big fan of flash fiction, saying a lot in a little bit of words. I think that short casual text adventures is great concept. For children of course, but maybe adults as well, in a Cards Against Humanity way.
