Digital removal of logos / elements in film footage

I'm editing a short film which is a case study for a charity which works with vulnerable young boys. The charity have decided that they want to use the film further afield and at the moment one of the characters is wearing costumes with a well known sports brand on it. We have tried to cut around it, but in some scenes it's just not something you can cut around! We're making this on a shoe string budget for the charity so I'm looking for a cost effective solution to this problem. The shots will include painting out a white line on a characters top, and some covering of logos. I would want to do a small bit first to ensure that you have the skills to do the rest before committing to doing the whole lot. The film was shot on a Red camera - so the footage is 3840x2160. It's actually going to be seen on DVD so there will be a little bit of leeway once it's compressed down, but I don't want the removed logos to be distracting to the audience (i.e. blurred / flickering). I also know that there will need to be an ongoing dialogue as some of the shots are more complex than others.
