Easy job. Will use Microchip MCU to record the data and a flash memory to store it. Will design the firmware with low power in mind so that it can run the system on CR2032 battery for it. I am guessing PIC12F1822 with XLP (eXtreme Low Power) can be used for it. It will also have pins for serial data out and I will give you simple utility application which will import the data from the device to the the computer. I will only make it to run on windows platform so no support for linux computer please. My job includes, schematic design, PCB design, firmware development and a small application to import the data to the PC. You just need a serial to USB adapter to connect to the device and import. Dear sir I have made the similar projects (low-consumption devices) for the biological research and similar purposes. I would propose to use Atmega328 chip and DS1820 sensor - that will provide a low power consumption in sleep mode and small size (approx. 3x3 cm or smaller). To upload that data to the computer you will need to use cheap UAART-USB adapter and any serial terminal software (there is a lot of such software), but I can write a simple program for the more convenient usage if you want (that's for free). Do you want a single device or you will produce a batch? (A selection of the components and design depends on that). Do you want to receive a working prototype? (a cost for delivery and components is not included to the price now, that's about 50$).

Hello, my name is George Bouris. My proposal is for using a ATmega 328 microcontroller, a LM35 temperature sensor, a serial flash memory and a DS1341 RTC. The latter may be omitted (to achieve lower power consumption - longer battery life and smaller size), if the time accuracy is not critical. The whole unit will be Arduino compatible, so its libraries may be used for high level functions (Serial port etc). Its size will be very small, if SMD technology will be used. To keep the power consumption to the absolute minimum, it will be in "deep sleep" mode for most of the time and wake up every 15' (the interval may be user configurable) to take a measurement or when data received in serial port (another option is to use a jumper to activate the serial communication). For the communication with the PC an external adapter (level shifter) and a usb to serial adapter will be used. They are commercially available at low prices. It will provide a menu driven interface, accessible from a serial terminal (PuTTY, for example).

These include spectrometer readout systems, analytical instruments, USB isolators, Microcontroller boards, Modular Conveyor systems, DC/DC converters, etc. I use Eagle 6.5 for schematics and layout, LTSpice for simulation. The bid includes a working prototype (materials and fabrication costs separate--time could also extend depends on parts/fab time), firmware, and a Windows-based test GUI in 32-bit/Windows 10 compatible installation. Do you want wireless data retrieval solution, or is wired the preferred method? How long do you want the battery to last? Do you want standard IEEE single-precision, double-precision, or other? Do you want data retrieval to be ASCII or binary? Also, will this require IP65-style protection and will the temperatures be measured with probes or on-board sensors? Best regards, Stuart Borden.
