We seek to determine the aerodynamic effect of circular or elliptical indentions or "dimples" (as on a golf ball) on the surface of a vehicle. The indentions shall have a maximum depth of 3mm, approximately hemispherical or flat base to curved edges in shape. Our desire is to model at least three different diameters of indentions: 5mm, 10mm, 25mm. A baseline smooth surface model is also desired. Vehicle shape and minor details can be approximate, however as much as possible we would desire something close to a 1980's model Mazada RX7. A picture is attached. Conditions are 60 miles-per-hour, sea level pressure, low humidity. Data desired is overall drag, drag on various surfaces, Reynolds numbers. Related isobaric color images are desired for each senario.
Hello I have simulated these kind of effects over aircrafts where instead of small dimples we have used small actuators for active control. I will definetly deliver the project as you want please accpet my bid
