Fulfilling your request 1 requires comboboxes for each row, it can be done within an xlsx file but request 2 requires a listbox with multiselect feature and storing several selected options can be done only with a macro (xlsm file). A multiselect listbox can easily be handled if all options are visible therefore I suggest a single listbox above the TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE column and also a single combobox above the COUNTRY column and freezing the pane at row 37 to keep the new boxes always visible. The highlighting of the list entries will be done using visual basic for applications and the multiselect will be taken care of in excel itself.

If you choose me, I will do the work in few hours after milestone payment received. I would create drop down list for Country column, where, when user would start typing, the selection of relevant country would automatically be highlighted. As for technical assistance, I would create multi - select option and the results would all write in one cell. Because of long names of options I would shorten them (example: Social Performance & client protection -> SP&CP), so that document will be nicely organized. Best regards, Rok

Hi, I have completed the task mentioned in project description. To achieve this I used the Data Validations in MS Excel. 1) Field for the country column (starting C37, currently a dropdown list) needs to allow the user to type in the starting letters, and have the list automatically highlight the relevant countries. 2) Dropdown for technical assistance (I37) should allow multi-select.
