Create Auto-incrementing Numbers in Form Fields

1st Task: I have 5 forms/templates with fill-in fields using MS Word. Each form has a number field with 6 characters for a unique, progressive, sequential number. Currently, I am manually keeping track of each number used. I need this number to be generated automatically every time we print. However, I also need to be able to override or have a way to re-print the form with previously assigned number....in case of printing errors. I am open to using MS Word or Excel. Current forms were created on MS Word. Forms can be saved as docs or templates. 2nd Task: One client will be assigned both the SS DUI Assessment and SS DUI Intervention Contract. I need to be able to enter the information on the fill-in fields in the assessment contract and it automatically appear on the appropriate fill-in fields on the intervention contract. Both the SS DUI Assessment and SS DUI Intervention Contract are printed at the same time with the same client information and same unique, progressive, sequential number.
