Using given input values, a data reference sheet on Excel, and a logic formula (Listed on the Excel File), I'd like someone to help create the programming code necessary to find a desired value (In this case "Min Ground Speed" or "Min G/S"). Interpolation calculations necessary, as well as rounding calculations (Up/Down to the nearest whole number).
Assumptions:
-All the "Input Values" are provided
-Winds are based on a 360 degree circle, any wind value past (+/-) 90 degrees from the runway heading are considered a tailwind and will be added. And any value within +/- 90 degrees of the runway heading is considered a headwind and will be subtracted. Any value at 90 degrees from runway heading is a crosswind, and therefore the Steady "W/V" Value is 0.
-All values derived from interpolating off the data tables will be rounded up to the nearest integer if at or over x.5. Values under x.5 will be rounded down to the nearest integer.
-Flap settings are not interpolated. They are set values depending on the situation.
