Looking for a content writer for a website dedicated to cycling and bicycles.
• Must have a good grasp of the English language.
• Each page must be informative, readable with zero grammar and spelling mistakes.
• Must be either knowledgeable in some aspect of cycling and bicycles, or be able to conduct thorough research on the subject.
• All content must be written with a style and flair of "talking to" someone rather than "talking at" someone.
• Although I am expecting perfect spelling and grammar, I don't want text-book, or "Wiki-pedia" type of writing. I am expecting grammatically correct, one to one conversational style of writing. Light heartedness and humor fused in with fact and substance would be perfect. Basically I am looking for content that is written in a clear, concise and confidence-inspiring manner.
• All work must be unique and original and must pass Copyscape. Plagiarized and recycled material will not be accepted.
• A sample of your quality writing must be provided, and your submitted writing must live up to that quality.
• Each article (or web page) will be written around a key phrase or keyword that I will provide.
• Upon completion and payment, the copyright and all rights to the written work will be mine. I reserve the right to use the material (and alter it if I so wish) in any way without your name being attached to it. As such you will have no rights to distribute or republish the work in any form whatsoever.
• In addition to good writing skills, preference will be given to individuals with direct expertise, knowledge or experience in cycling and bicycles (are you a mountain biker or road racer? Are you experienced with kids' bikes or maybe you are a salesperson at a bicycle store or bicycle clothing store? Or perhaps you are a mechanic at a bike shop?)
• I am looking to engage several writers in the beginning, and the one who provides the best work, meets deadlines and gives best value for the work will get the lion's share of available work.
Please respond in confidence with a sample of your writing and remuneration expectations.
Thanks for the opportunity to bid on your project. I provide clear and effective writing, editing and marketing services for business clients.
Although I'm not a hardcore bicycling enthusiast, still, I often ride on Sundays since my city mandated a once-per-week motor-vehicle ban throughout all downtown areas.
For $100 I offer 2500 words (5 pages) of flawlessly-written content about cycling and bicycles, with each word chosen to inform, engage and entertain readers.
Please see my accompanying generic sample content, written for a motorcycle-attorney's website. I'm certain I can meet your specific requirements.
Thanks again for the opportunity to bid on this project!
