Cartoon Characters for Business English Text Book

in a nutshell: characters/comic for introducing English in a text book for a company. If successful: would become an ongoing project as more text books/material are created. Output: Either 4 characters in different poses and some variation in clothes/looks to be as stand-alone in the text or a comic based dialogue Background: We are in the process of making a new English Text book for a client. The textbook will have dialogues (conversations) to introduce new language. We'd like to illustrate the dialogues in a comic book style in order to make it more appealing and add some visual flair. For now, four characters would be ideal and some background props/images. Female Japanese, mid 20s. Male Japanese, late 20s or early 30s White male, late 20s or early 30s Black female late 20s or early 30s Style: Each character would have a unique dress style and look. But all characters would be working for a fashion designer/producer. Think Uniqlo for terms of clothes (feel free to dress characters in Uniqlo clothes for examples ([login to view URL]). Dialogue: Here's a sample of the dialogue. You'll notice that it is very business oriented. So sadly, the character posing options may be limited - but there will be further dialogues on a more cultural or personal level created later as well. Dialogue: Akiko (Female/Japanese) and Ted (Male/American) are having a meeting by TVC. Akiko is in Japan. Ted is in New York. Akiko: Hello, Ted are you there? Ted: Hi Akiko. How are you? Akiko: Great thanks, and you? How is New York? Ted: Pretty good as always. We’re very excited about the new products that are coming. Akiko. Good to hear. Okay, so let me start the meeting. Thank you for coming. As you know we have decided the FW16 product range now. So our objective today is to determine the first round of purchase orders for the main products. Do you have a copy of the products in front of you? Ted: Yes, I have a copy here. Akiko: Great, so let’s move to the first item which are the sweats designed by Alexandre Plokhov. We’re really excited about this design. Ted: So are we. I think this is going to be super hot and popular. We’ll have no problem moving them. Akiko: That’s great to hear. So, can we agree to the initial order estimate? Ted: Yes we can. But, I think Black will be more popular than Gray. Akiko: Do you mean we should change the initial quantity? Ted: Yes, we’d prefer twice as many black as grey for all items. Akiko: Ok, let me check about that and get back to you.
