Build a Website

We are a U.S. based web design and web development company. We have worked with numerous nationally recognized clients on a variety of projects. We are looking for talented and passionate programmers/company who loves what they do to work on some of our projects. The purpose of this small project that I am posting is simply a test project to see how well the programmer does is the following areas: 1. Quality of work 2. Response Time 3. Meeting Deadlines 4. Expertise and ability to handle larger and complex projects If we are very happy with the how well the programmer/company meets the criteria above and how well they do on this test project, we will likely use the programmer/company for several projects moving forward. We are looking to develop a long lasting relationship with a talented group of programmers. The Scope of work for this test project is as follows: Create a small Word Press website based on the following template: [login to view URL] Please see the attached home page labeled "[login to view URL]" . Please note this is just a general layout to give you an idea of what I'm looking for on the home page but please feel free to design and layout content as you feel best. Your ability to take the content I provide you and create a very professional page structure/layout, professional, clean forms and an overall website that looks great without the need for that much direction from me is part of the purpose of this test project. So again, you have complete freedom to layout content as you see fit. I have a domain name and hosting account and I will provide the FTP info when we get started on this project. The pages for the website will be as follows with descriptions for each page. Please note that I will provide the photos and content once we start on the project: Home - See attached file labeled “[login to view URL]” the photos I would like to use on the home page and how I would like to add 3 boxes below the main slideshow. About – You can use the “About Us” page that comes with the Word Press template but of course change it up a little to go with the theme of this website. You can use photos that I will supply as you would like on the different pages that make up this website. You have complete freedom to use your professional expertise to create the page as you best see fit. Event Calendar – You can use a WordPress event Calendar. Maybe something like: [login to view URL] or something better you may find. The calendar should be large on this page so that it is the main feature on this page and I would like it to be mainly white with shades of gray boxes for the days that there are events. Photo Gallery – You can use the “Image Gallery” page that comes with the Word Press template and change it to “Photo Gallery”. Use the photo labeled “[login to view URL]” for the background instead of the current white background. The header with the Golden Harbour logo and navigation can remain white. Contact Us - You can use the “Contact Us” page that comes with the Word Press template. Use the photo of the starfish in the background of this page with the content (text, form, etc…) in the foreground as it currently is.
