Clean up 51 pictures of candles, export to files and then create a picture file or catalogue

I have the following pictures I need to clean up: 24 long candle pictures that I need the background taking off and making a transparent image as a gif or similar - compressed to make small size. Each of these 24 will need to be aligned straight if not showing straight and resize so all 24 are same length. I need the image to be around 700 pixels long and an appropriate width once you manipulate the image. 24 close up pictures for the corresponding candles. They can be 600 pixels long and a corresponding width. You can trim the images accordingly to only show the necessary detail. 3 others are of the base of the candle and need cleaning up. All images have to be finally the same size - 24 long ones and the 24 close ups. 3 others can be like the close up sizes. These will be optimized for placing on a website and as I have a site which is a blue background hence why I need them to be transparent. Once these are all done I need a final 2 images or pages where the candles are exported onto one or two sheets so I can produce a catalogue and add text. You can do this in powerpoint or something but must agree with me first the format so we can show all the main pictures with the close up and 3 bases together some how so I can produce a catalogue and have these images maybe as a high output tiff or some other file so they show aligned all the same size and over 2x A4 pages or more if need be. I will let you decide. Again it must be transparent as I may need to put something under the overall layout. Preference will be given to those who show they can optimise images and ideas of how to produce me a catalogue that I can use and edit rather than standard general bids.
