Hi,
My name is Rachel and I am located in the Santa Cruz area. I would really like to find someone who is in the bay area that I could meet with personally, but if not we could talk on the phone or do skype. I am looking primarily for someone to help me build a website for my writing and illustration, that also involves some social networking (so I guess that means a website with a blog attached?)
I am in the dark about how to go about this myself, but I know I would like to use the platform Cargo, if possible. There are other platforms I am open to using, but I am looking for a very specific look for my site. Due to the fact that it is an illustrator's portfolio, the aesthetic quality is very important to me. Here are three links I am wanting to emulate the quality of;

I'm a struggling single mom and I'm pinching pennies together to do this, but the sources all confer that I need a nice website if I am going to go forward in this field.
if you go to the links I included and feel capable of doing something like one of these, and could give me an estimate for how much that would cost, I would love to hear from you.
