I want to develop an app where by machine operators and workmen can log daily prestarts of machines, recording machine hours, start times and finish times, faults, upcoming services, and the job they are on. Alerts would show up when a machine or truck was 50 hours or 100km's away from a service. The information logged could be accessed by a number of devices so that people in the workshop can track the machines. The app would also include power tools and various equipment and faults for the equipment could be logged and also who was in possession of the tool or equipment and when it is due to be tested and tagged.
Photos could be uploaded to the specific piece of plant or equipment that shows damage or faults.
Plant and equipment could be manually input into the app and include a photo including serial numbers with columns underneath the plant or equipment to allow for input of the required fields.
For Machines there would be spaces for:
hours, next service due, faults, damage, flashing beacon working, fire extinguisher in date, operator name, work start time, work finish time, job name, client name, litres of fuel it takes at each fill up and potentially some others.
For power tools and equipment there would be spaces for:
test and tag due date, faults, who currently has possession of it, what job it was last used on.
The app would have to be available on all formats, mobile phone, ipad, computer and be available to both apple and android.
