Mainly I need a small square logo...basically an icon or whats called a "sub mark". The site is called Shopjoy. It probably needs to be black/white, as it will always be over a full background image, as shown in the attached screenshot. In the screenshot the mark will be used where the hamburger icon is in the top left corner - the size will probably be double the size of the current hamburger.
I'd like the style to be minimal with like an urban edge.
I've been thinking that overlaying the letter "S" and "J" like the Padress or the Yankees might be a good idea (but maybe not):

I'm less focussed on doing a "main" logo, but if the icon ends up having text, maybe it would be a good idea to go ahead and make a word-mark.
Maybe it doesn't have to be square. Some kind of crest might be good.
