We are looking for a designer who is capable to create a mascot to our company. Actually, we have defined our mascot which is related to a traditional Chinese mythological character named Wukong. Wukong is a character in the famous novel in China which is "Journey to the West " and he is a monkey in fact. This character is also very famous in the Western country in some online games or TV shows. If you had not heard about Wukong, you can directly go to Wikipedia looking for his information . Also, We will offer a series picture and some information about Wukong as the reference to you in order to make sure you know him before you starting to create the mascot.
Towards this design, we prefer to relatively lovely, cute, and vivid style as the pictures we provided. On the other hand, it is important that Wukong is not only cute and vivid but also he is full of courage, for example Wukong in the story is a warrior called "The Monkey King". So , we want a lovely image while also present his charming courage . This is what we need towards the design. In addition , a very important point , Wukong who has a lot of typical elements on his appearance, so we hope the mascot can vividly present those characters. For example : his Monkey King bar ( metal stick weapon with free expansion ) , somersault cloud ( Cloud look, Wukong can stand， fight, or fly on the cloud with a high speed ) , special ring( tied to a metal ring in the head ) . These three points reflected in the body of the mascot are the most typical things of Wukong. In addition, you can also think about his armor or other characters on Wukong in the story from your own investigation.
We are mainly focusing on 2D painting which only on painting, so you do not need to make the 3D model. The most important things is this mascot has to reflect the characters of Wukong. With your creative thought and ability, we look forward to seeing the creation of mascot.
