Development of a web based application that if focused on the management of mini/small hotel properties and B&B's. The main functionality of the application is to facilitate the management of a guest through whole stay process from check in to check out and at the same time give a whole new experience not only to the hotelier but also to the final client involving them from before the stay commences to well after it has finished though the incorporation of social media links and post (Facebook, Twitter, etc.) Besides the basic needs of check in/out there is a main screen that should be developed the Planning Screen, this is a calendar view that displays all of the hotel rooms and dates with the appropriate reservations. The whole software must have an extremely simple view (google like) and the end user should be able to start up and work with it without any formal training. Your responsibilities: - Review business requirements - Perform a technical analysis of requirements - Produce a solid, detailed technical design - Write clean, modular, robust code to implement the desired requirements - Contribute ideas for making the application better and easier to use - A work style that is extremely detail oriented Specific programming languages desired: Java, Google App Engine, HTML, MySQL, App development in iOS and Android ABSOLUTE REQUIREMENT: google app experience with web services PREFERRED LOCATION: Poland Additional comments: This is the description for the initial core functionality. Once this is started there are additional components that will need to be developed and additional services that have to work either on top of this or in conjunction with the core ones.
