Hi there bidder,
We have an easy job for you once you understand the details.
We are working on a new webpage and because we are transferring from one CMS system to another there is some data that can’t be imported/exported easily (at least we can’t find that way).
Your job.
1. Go to www.knxshoponline.co.uk. There you will find lots of products with pictures.
2. We have copied the database from that shop into the new shop, but we’re missing images so what you need to do is download product picture from the current [login to view URL] website, login to our new CMS system (Big Commerce), find the product there and upload the picture to the same product.
3. We also need to copy the links that you can find in the ‘Downloads’ section within the description in the old page to the new page, because we couldn’t find a way on how to export that (maybe you can?). For instance product [login to view URL] has four downloadable files that need to be uploaded to our new server.
5. Add manufacturers code to the search data and google meta data. Most of the time it can be found when choosing variants (after the variant name) or the number and/or letters after product name. e.g. “Alu Natural Anodised / CJC1021A” manufacturers code is CJC1021A.
Notes: All information is also on a spreadsheet and mark the product that you have finished so we can easily follow your progress if necessary. Also there are many products with different variants so make sure you select each. You will also get FTP access to possibly speed up the process.
That is an easy explanation of how to do it, but I’m sure you’ll need some clarification before I award it to you. Once you understand what needs to be done, after 5-10 products you will be sailing like a pro!
If you can automate/script than even better, you will probably beat most of the bids we’ll receive, but I believe that the manufacturers code can’t be automated/scripted.
Good luck and waiting for the bids to roll in!:)
