Job description "Lecture Slideshow Greek Mythology" QUALIFICATIONS: I am looking for an individual with experience in this particular software obviously (Impress Open Office) who will understand the text of the lecture and then create an aesthetically pleasing presentation. Scholarly background in humanity or art sciences would be a considerable plus. BRIEFING I will give a series of lectures, each one of which has specifications described below. The maximum I pay for each lecture for a perfectly qualified individual is $30. Bidding for this job refers to ONE lecture for the above maximum of $30. Once completed to my satisfaction, the next one can be agreed and so on. Language of lectures: English Subject: Greek Mythology (sex & crime incidents) Duration: 50' per lecture + 5' reserve time. JOB DESCRIPTION Text: I already have the complete texts for the lectures and most of the images. The job is for you to create a Powerpoint-style presentation for each lecture. Specifications as follows: Software: Impress (Open Office, files .odp). I use a MacBook Air. I must be able to edit the file afterwards. Projection: The venue will provide a good quality projector (specifications unknown) and a large screen (some 2.5m x 2.5m). There will not be wifi or internet connection at the location. Images: Most images are readily available and can be provided via Dropbox. These are Renaissance paintings and sculptures. Perhaps they are not large enough for sharp projection. It is part of the job to verify that all images will look sharp when projected, and perhaps to find some additional appropriate images, which must be copyright -free (the lectures will not be commercial, but free of charge). Approx. 60-70 slides per lecture. Text on slides: The slides will be mixed images & text. The text in each slide must be bullet-style, just providing keypoints to support the spoken text. It will be your job to distill such keywords from the written text. This cannot be done mechanically, you must understand the text. Caution: Both the text and the images present crime, nudity and sex. If you are uncomfortable with that for any reason, then this is not a job for you. Deadline: 3 calendar days from agreement. References: You must present recommendations for having successfully completed similar jobs, or relevant samples.
