We are redesigning our music blog ([login to view URL]) a little bit and wanted to give our logo an underground, urban sort of touch. Looking for someone who could paint our logo and make it similar in style to the one attached (black on white). We want it to look as natural as possible, so would prefer it to be painted on a large enough canvas and either shipped through or photographed using a good camera. We would then process it digitally. Also attached our current logo (white on black, Asian-looking symbol). As you can see it looks slightly unnatural, the outer circle is good, but the insides do look a bit fake (it was drawn in photoshop).

G'day there I've done a fair bit of Shuji (Japanese Calligraphy) over the years and I have enough gear to offer up a few different styles (eg. big brush with heaps of ink and drips, scratchy from half dry brush strokes etc). I'm proposing to use Japanese ink and brushware on A4 180 gsm gloss photo paper. The black ink shows up pretty nicely on the gloss paper and doesn't really bleed at all. If I read the proposal right, it looks like you're after versions of your new logo and the old one? I was thinking that my bid would represent 4 works of each symbol (or a different combo if you like), each done a little differently but all brushstroke with black ink on white gloss photo paper. 8 A4 pieces in all, mailed out to you so you can get the most out of the digital transfer process. Please check this link ([login to view URL]) for a scanned example of what I am offering (please mind though, I have a shitty scanner and haven't utilised all the paper in this, I'm thinking one symbol in landscape for each page, yeah?)
