I have some experience in children's books illustrations. My BA project was illustrating an epic story for children which it's samples are in my portfolio. I usually work with acrylics if I want to illustrate something colorful and for the black and white and simple illustrations I use ink. I would really love to work for your project.

Although I am new to marketing my works, I have been drawing stories for myself for years now. I feel that my artistic style has developed in a way that's made it enjoyable and aesthetically pleasing, but also unlike the majority of work done by illustrators in the market right now. If you browse the contests for similar projects on this site you will see much of the same artistic style, and where it differs, it doesn't seem to differ much. I'd like to make you something beautiful and original. I don't mean over the top or out of the realm of a children's book. Just something that feels like it's own entity. Something that looks special on a bookshelf, and not like everything it's juxtaposed with. Images that will stick with children into adulthood. This would be my first time working as a paid illustrator, but not my first time illustrating for others. I will send consistent images and updates, and am also extremely patient, so as I work, whatever you like stays, and whatever you hate disappears, YOU'RE THE BOSS! My work consists primarily of two mediums, watercolor and acrylic, and though right now I only have 2 water colored works posted in my portfolio (which are rather low saturation), I have pictures upon pictures that I have yet to upload that I could send you if you'd like to see my colored works. Whether or not I am your chosen Illustrator I hope the project goes well, writing children's books is definitely an admirable endeavor. Hope to hear from you soon!
