I've built a small diy laser cutter using a 2000mw laser diode. I'd like to know how I could combine two laser beams into a fiber optic cable and focus into single point. The idea is I'd like to increase cutting power by using two laser diodes instead of just one. Furthermore, I'd like to use a fiber cable so the laser diodes do not need to be mounted on the X-gantry and I can route the laser beam as I see fit.
Is it possible to combine two 445nm 2000mw (continuous power) laser beams into a fiber cable and focus laser beam into a single point? If so, how is this accomplished? I would need you to provide a thorough description and details on how to accomplish this.
Hi, I have master degree in physics and have been working as researcher for seven years. I read you project description and found that it is an interesting project. I want to research on this topic to get the answers to your questions. I have handsome research experience and have excess to scholarly sources to get articles. I would provide you the details of every question in the form of well written research report.
Please contact me to discuss more about this project.
