At PowerToFly we’re building the first social platform for finding, vetting and connecting accomplished female tech talent from all over the world with companies that recognize how diversity and flexible work fuel innovation. We are driven by a strong social mission to change the nature of work by making it more accessible for countless women.
First and foremost you should care deeply about the community PowerToFly is building for women and employers and you are focused on growing it each and everyday. That means you are listening to current members’ feedback, while reaching out to potential new users. While focusing on meeting sign up goals, you are a creative marketer who is constantly thinking of ways to grow the PowerToFly platform through multiple social channels. All in all, you are part social media manager, analytics nerd and community first-responder. Examples of projects include testing out how changes affect our user-base, optimizing Facebook ads for different audiences and obsessing over how and when we post to Twitter.
Your Responsibilities:
-Grow PowerToFly’s social media presence across multiple platforms that include, but aren’t limited to, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and Instagram.
-Grow PowerToFly’s email list and institute creative campaigns to engage users.
-Work to understand the needs of PowerToFly’s community and answer daily questions as well as concerns.
-Institute tracking, set goals and be a major force behind PowerToFly’s growth.
-Display exemplary communication skills as you represent our growing brand.
Requirements:
-At least two years experience working on products that required deep social marketing work.
-An obvious love for social platforms that’s exemplified through how you use the accounts bearing your own name.
-Very strong written English skills.
-Experience working with analytics tools, especially ones that focus on social metrics.
-Experience with Facebook and LinkedIn’s advertising tools.
-Past work with email campaigns.
-An obsession with conversion and sign up rates.
-An understanding of development cycles so you can communicate properly with tech talent.
