The last application I developed was hosted on aws ec2 instance and the complete set up was done by me. The set up included creation of elastic IP, configuring ports, creating rules and load balancing. Also the application used spring Hibernate and Mysql . The server was tomcat. I also did the server configuration for domain and virtual host.
