Setup in eclipse: 1) Setup project in eclipse need jars files from cluster for HBASE and Hadoop. Usually it will present in /usr/lib/Hbase(HADOOP). 2) HBase connectivity needed some zookeper configurations, we need to identify them. Project: 1) I understand that we need to write a MapReduce program, where it will read the data from input from a source, transformation will be done based on the requirements. 2) After transformation , we need to insert/update the record in HBASE using HBase Java API. 3) Identifying the rowkey is also important in HBASE. Design a row key 4) Bulk Load options are already provided in HBASE API, for csv,tsv. 5) I already developed the code for HBASE for generation of Hashkey(murmur hashkey) for my project. Plan: Day-1: Understand exact requirement needed.
