Hello there, My name is Bogdan Stoica and I am working as a Linux Senior Server Administrator at one of the biggest web hosting companies from my country Romania. We have over 50 dedicated servers and couple hundreds of virtual machines. We are using cPanel/WHM for all our shared web hosting servers and reseller accounts. Operating system is CentOS 5,6,7. As a virtualization technology we are using vmware, ESXi 4 and 5, vCenter, vSphere client etc. We also use Proxmox (with ovz and lxc + kvm), SolusVM with openvz and sometimes even docker. My job is to keep all those servers and virtual machines functional. We are using haproxy + nginx + apache as a reverse proxy server and web server, MySQL and MariaDB (sometimes PostgreSQL) for database servers, exim + MailScanner + SpamAssassin. I have over 10 years experience with any linux distribution and at 7+ years with cPanel/WHM. I also have good experience with HTML/CSS, medium experience with scripting (mostly bash) but also a little perl, basic knowledge with PHP+SQL (web programming) and good experience with malware removal tools, server security, accounts and data migration. I can make your server PCI compliant (I work for a hosting provider where all servers have to be PCI compliant) but you need to ensure you are in a PCI compliant facility and your ecommerce site is also PCI compliant.
