Need to match combinations of records in 2 MS access tables and manipulate data in a 3rd column based on the resulting match.
## Deliverables
Attached is an MS Access database created in Access 2000. The two tables that contain the data to be matched are CS_Product_Combinations and GC_Exceptions. The fields to be matched are productcode and combination, which are in both tables.
Using the product code, and associated combinations in GC_Exception, I need the exact and like matches to be found in CS_Product_Combinations, and the value of Amount to be changed to zero. All results from CS_Product_Combinations should be written into the table CS_Combination_Upload.
As an example, productcode=29405 and combination =Size=5.5;Width=2E is an exact match between both tables and Amount should be changed to zero (0). A example of a "like" match would be for productcode=CAR-C003 in GC_exceptions. One of the combinations in the this table is, Size=SML;Length=TLL, which can be found in several records in CS_Product_Combinations. These are: Color=Black;Size=SML;Length=TLL,
Color=Carhartt Brown;Size=SML;Length=TLL, and
Color=Dark Navy;Size=SML;Length=TLL.
All of these records' Amount field should be changed to zero as well.
