Assessment Book Scanning App

This project requires the developer to create a prototype app for us. Graphics, contend and audio will be provided by our company. Basic concept of this app is to allow user to scan or enter in an ISBN of an assessment book and if available, the app will prompt the user if they would like to purchase the answer marking sheets, once the user have paid for it via In-app purchase, the contend will be downloaded and stored on their device. Then the user can go ahead and select the activity they are doing and mark their paper. Once done, their results will be analyzed and displayed to them. They are also view the comparision of their current and previous results. They can also compare with users who did the same paper. Under user profile, user can edit their personal information as well as view their Overall studies results as well as a breakdown of their performance via subjects. The contends will be dummy contends and does not require us to put in the contends of the entire book into the database. A few key functions that we need for the prototype includes, Mysql databases for the book information, user results and user registration. Contend to be updated by using php mysql. Basic UI as shown in the jpg. Able to download and upload contend(app, text, image, audio) to and from app to database To have In-app purchase function that will check with apple before allowing user to download the contend. Test paper marking function with end result analysis. Able to hold onto contend if no internet connection and to upload once connection is available. Users score comparison analysis. User registration. Our budget for this project is USD1800. Time limit for this project is around 2 months.
