Soweit ich ihr Projekt richtig verstanden habe, soll eine Android messaging app erstellt werden. Die API und das Backend sind schon vorhanden und der genaue Ablauf der "Demo"-App ist in Ihrem Anhang beschrieben. Generell arbeite ich nach dem Ansatz des "Agile Development", d.h. sobald eine lauffähige Version bzw. eine wesentlich neue Funktion fertig ist erhalten Sie ein Update und man kann sich darüber unterhalten, ob und was geändert werden soll. So haben Sie auch noch während der Entwicklung Einfluss auf das Resultat. Im ersten Schritt würde ich erstmal ein Mockup erstellen - also das gesamte Benutzer-Interface, alle Buttons, ... Danach wird die App zum Leben erweckt, indem ich die gewünschten Funktionen bzw. den Kontakt zu Ihrer API einbaue. Gerne kann ich auch für einen geringen Aufpreis eine iPhone-Version erstellen. Ich würde mich freuen alsbald von Ihnen zu hören, wir können uns auch telefonisch besprechen. Gerne zeige ich Ihnen dann von mir erstellte Apps. I have been developing iOS apps for over 5 years now. I am using Storyboard with auto layout. I am good at UI Animations using UIKit framework. I am proficient in using CoreData framework and I can handle multi threading in CoreData. Using RestKit or not is your choice. I don't have any problem in using it. To consume RESTful Web Services, I use AFNetworking. I use Cocoapods for integration of 3rd party libraries. I have used Cloud hosting services such as Amazon S3 and EC2 servers, Rackspace etc for backend hosting of my previous apps. Github is the main tool I usually use for source management.
