Build an iPhone application from design and API (already built)

You will be required to build an application according to a design specification, which interacts with a custom API which has already been written for the backend of the app. This RESTful API handles all profiles, accounts, data storage and retrieval. Please message me after placing a bid and I will give you access to the specification. Within the app itself, almost everything is simply a matter of pulling the required information from the API (authentication via JWT). However, to make the app look good you will need to do all of the following: * Cache all data locally * Cache all images locally (URIs provided by API) * Allow for offline access, store all actions and push to server when new connection available Along with this, the app (exercise orientated) will need to record the users location (lat/lng) at set intervals when an exercise is in progress, and push this to the server though an endpoint (and as before, if no connection available it should be added to a task queue and pushed when there is a connection). You will be provided with: * Full design files including PSD * API documentation * Storyboard/wireframe The API is custom written for the app, so all required data will be easily accessed. Authentication is handled through Twitter, Facebook and Email/Password. For Twitter and Facebook, you will need to use client-side OAuth, and post the access token(s) and ID to the server, which will validate the account and return the access token, which is then use with all future requests. Access tokens are valid for 7 days, so your app will need cache them locally, and make a request every few days to another endpoint which will take the current token, and reissue it. For confidentiality reasons, the design files and API docs will be provided on an individual basis provided that your portfolio is up to scratch. If you have any questions feel free to ask. We are aware of the time it would take to build the app, and while we have selected Medium project, we expect it to fall at the lower end because the API is already written and documented.
