Web app for iOS/Android similar to Demon Cam Project summary: We need a developer to create the client side of a web app similar to the one mentioned above. The app should allow the user to take a picture with the phone’s camera or use an existing photo from the camera album. After the picture is selected, the user should mark some spots on the picture (face) so the effect is applied correctly. This information will be sent through to a web service, which will process the image to add the effect and convert it into a video. The web service will send back the video to the mobile device and the user will be able to see it and post it on his Facebook account. We will not need the development for the effect or the video creation, we only requiere the client part to be developed. The chosen candidate for this job must have experience with apps that use the phone's camera and camera album and should be able to perform these tasks: 1. take a picture from the phone's camera or use a photo from the camera album and import it in the app. 2. allow the user to set tracking points on the photo (eyes, mouth, nose, chin). 3. send all this data to a web service (in a format we will discuss) to be processed. 4. receive a video from the web service, show it in the app and be able to post it to the user's facebook wall. The video MUST be seen from there, not taking the viewers to an external URL. When you submit a quote on this - make sure the scope is within you and your team's core competency. Previous apps and portfolios are a plus. More information will be provided to qualified applicants.
