Need simple client database to be able to manage and keep track of clients, subscriptions and purchased services.
Our business: fitness and consulting. Essentially sell three types of services. 1) Monthly nutrition guide subscriptions, 2) Personal training sessions, and 3) Supplements (Powders, pills, etc.)
Would like clients to have their own user accounts on our website (regardless of being subscribed to the monthly nutrition guide subscription), in which they would update their current weight, address, etc. and through which they can then purchase any of our goods/services.
For the personal training sessions, we would like some type of voucher or coupon system, whereby the client may purchase a bundle and redeem separate sessions throughout a period of time.
Possible extra: a calendar of sorts, in which clients can pic date and time to have their session.
For goods, we would like a system similar to eBay, where clients can order the product for it to be delivered to their address.
Back end: Managers to be able to easily view stats, change prices, add products/services, change service schedules, logistics. And be able to add discounts, or provide items for free or reduced price.
Extra: if above extra is done, then we would also like a user group for our employees (personal trainers) with limited restrictions/ability to make changes to bookings, so that they can create, confirm, reschedule or cancel appointments.
We only require a very basic system at the moment, and may forego the ability for clients to be able to log in if it will bring significant savings. Essentially we need to be able to keep track of what we are doing, and need to do so from various locations.
Will soon be expanding to full online automation of nutrition reports through online PDFs of calculated nutrients depending on input parameters, followed by mobile applications, and would like to remain with the same developer if suitably capable.
Already have domains, host, and rudimentary Joomla! site, as well as a temporary moonfruit one. We like the versatility and ease of back-end us of Joomla!, and would like to continue using it, if suitable.
We are open to suggestions, and seek continual relationship with the developer, as continual changes and upgrades are foreseen.

Went through your requirements. Implementation in Joomla would give you a better control as an admin over the users and manage their activity in a single place. But there is some amount of rigidity attached to this. We can discuss this further and see how to proceed based on that.
