we need someone who can write an example for us showing how we can copy a locked file using the Windows ShadowCopy Service from C#.
If you accept then you need to create a program that can acess passed list of files, create a shadowcopy (if necessary) on an alternative location.
It's important that your method can access locked files, e.g.:
pst
mdf
ldf
etc
Your methods needs to run under 32 and 64 bit on Vista and Windows 7, Windows 2003...2008

I can make backup utility using Volume Snapshot Service also known as Shadow Copy. As you stated its required in both Arch 32 7 64 bit, for this its required to compile in both Arch.

As I understood you need to create back up of locked files like PST etc using Microsoft Volume Shadow Copy Service. I have done similar work in my job assignment. I can finish this task easily.
