Hello Developers Straight to matter first, I need a Clinic Management [login to view URL] is obviously a Desktop application.I feel like making it with MS access Database.(Please tell me if there is any blunder using MS access instead of SQL server,I know sql server can hold more datas than MS [login to view URL] when we give the application as a demo version to the clients,how is it possible to install sql server additionally in their systems?If you have any idea of integrating sql server database for the demo purpose of the application,we shall go with sql server.I certainly need a wise decision from you fellas.) Hi, I am experience enough with the clinic or hospital management terminology as I have worked on similar projects prior. To answer your question I would suggest you to have both the databases SQL and Access. We can easily have this functionality by just writting a generic Data access layer class to switch on MSAccess or SQL. If it is DEMO switch to MSAccess else switch to SQL. If this does not make sense to you then further you can use SQLlite. and at end you can use MSAccess. The reason I am putting MSAccess at the end because obviously the its gona be a product and should be generic enough for future requirement. Please comeup with your opinion, I am open for any approach. I am experience enough working on Windows as well Web application using .net framework. Looking forward your response. Thanks, Sunder
