Brief
A site which can create a retailer record (with name, description, datetimeadded, primary url, shippingurl etc), specify which countries the retailer delivers to and what categories of products they sell. User should be able to view the retailer records. See attached word doc for more info
Example –I want to create a retailer record for Amazon:
1. Enter Name (Amazon)
2. Enter Description (online retailer of books, movies, music and games along with electronics, toys, apparel, sports, tools, groceries and general home and garden items)
3. Enter other fields (see database design)
4. Select Countries they deliver to (I am thinking checkboxes for each country in the countries table)
5. Select Categories (I am thinking of a checkbox for each category in the categories table)
6. Save(saves retailer information to the retailers table, save the retailer/country information to the RetailerShipping table and the saves the retailer/category to the RetailerCategories table
Users should be able to view this information by selecting a country from the home page and a list of retailers that deliver to that country will be displayed. Each retailer should also display the categories of products they sell.
Example
User wants to view retailers that deliver to Australia. They select Australia from the list and a list of retailers is returned.
Selecting one of the retailers should take the user to the retailer details page which provides additional information as well as the ability for the user to enter comments and a rating.
I don’t need any UI design at all, so do not waste any time on this. Only minimum CSS to get the page generated. The site does not have to look good it just has to meet the functional requirements.
I have provided a database design and a sql script but you can change this as you see fit but do not add multiple categories or countries to the retailer table.
