Project is a simple UI application for controlling OSC (Open Sound Control) data and MIDI with laptop touchpads. The design has been signed off with comprehensive UX wireframes outlining the entire application, and assets / style-guidelines ready for production.
We're looking for a conscientious developer who will pay due care to the wireframes, but also be able to suggest and make informed decisions on things that may not be covered by the documentation. Project-specific proficiencies are:
- Windows 8 and OSX compatible
- Task-bar based application
- Override OS touchpad events
- Send OSC and MIDI data
- Protect by serial number
Experience in all of these areas are a must. We plan to approach development in three stages:
1. Central mechanism and concept - develop the core feature on which the application is based.
2. Develop app - expand this into full application.
3. Testing and preparation - get it ready for sale (encrypted serial numbers, App Store etc)
On signing an NDA we would hand over the documentation and ask you to pitch a certain amount of hours for each stage. For the right person this is the opportunity to work on a really cool app that will be a joy to use. No fusty commerce apps or knock-offs; this is a lovely little tool aimed at musicians and digital artists that will look great on your CV.

Dear Manager,
Thank you for your project posting, I am very interested.
I would like to discuss further details about your project via Skype call or chat.
After you award your project to me, I will start working immediately and will work my full time to finish your project as soon as possible.
Looking forward to good news from you soon.
Sincerely
I am interested in the project. I have done many objective C apps for Mobile and Desktop. Some of them can be found at cocoakomali.blogspot.com. But I don't have any experience with MIDI or OSC. I just know what it is. But I am sure I will be able to crack it. Let's discuss if you are interested in my proposal.
