Community Networking Website

I am looking to create a community networking website that needs users to login, keeping them to one screen name. (by checking database records to keep users from making more than one name)Basically users will search unique posts in their own city to find what they need but can click another city from a drop down menu to search posts created by another city's unique posts from users in that area. Each city will be independent of the others in where they post. The site will need the following key features for a startup website. Features will be discussed in more detail at a later date. 1. Login Users must login at a login page before going to the actual site. Users can view and edit their posts, and personal information through their account and navigate the website as well under their name. Users start at their city but can navigate to other cities. 2. Admin Control - see stats, change/edit/delete posts. Create/Delete categories and users as well 3. Posting Function w/different posting categories (Users can post in different cities) Posts need a filter that doesn't allow obscene writing or materials. Users can upload graphics with their post. Posts stay on 30 days then are removed. 4. Event Calendar (Including posts specific to each city) 5. Support Advertising Banners in right hand nav. Users click then sent to a form to upload a graphic in that respective spot in their respective city (Specific to each city) 6. Auto E-mail Confirmation (To let users know they have posted or their post has been removed) 7. Left Hand Nav w/main categories, but when clicked the sub categories are shown 8. Search Box to search local posts but have option to search other posts in other cities. More on the site in the deliverables. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). The project doesn't have to be developed using the ASP.NET programming language and standard compliant HTML and CSS. VB.NET is a suggestion for coding the dynamic portions of the site and use a SQL Server 2005 database for data storage. These specifications do not necessarily need to be used but it is preferred. I also need graphic portion of the website with logos and design of what the users and website visitors will see. I will discuss these 8 functions in detail...but not much more detail cause it is a startup website. ## Platform All current browsers...Mozilla Firefox, Explorer, Netscape, Windows, Linux, etc.
