I need a meal plan tool which generates a meal plan based on an inputed calorie amount and number of meals.
Basically, I need an algorithm which solves a problem with multiple constraints. The tool randomly pulls food items from a database and modifies their amount in order to satisfy both a calorie requirement as well as a "macro" requirement. The "macro" is the percentage of protein, carbs, and fats in the total meal. The database has item names, protein, carb, and fat amounts per servering. I also have another feature which must be added and I will discuss this in a pm. There are even more constraints than what I have listed.
I can give you an example calculation in a PM and I will send you an example of what the generator should do. You will need a VERY solid understanding of mathematics and algorithm design to complete this as it is a tricky problem.
This is NOT as simple as a knapsack problem. Anyone who is interested must PM ME with two things: 1) A description of how you plan to solve the problem and the algorithm technique you plan to use. 2) The word 'platypus' in the beginning of the private message. If you can't even following these simple instructions, I have little confidence you will be able to complete the project and I will not respond to you.

IMPORTANT: I will require to see a basic design of the code before you receive ANY payment. Plenty of people offer to show me examples. If you can get something together, ill run the numbers, if everything calculates out correctly, we can talk about doing work together. Again. YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO SHOW ME FUNCTIONAL AND MATHEMATICALLY ACCURATE CODE BEFORE YOU ARE SELECTED.
