We need a plain-vanilla download component designed to use the iDownload interface in IE 5.5 and 6. It should replicate the default download experience with no additional frills or features.
Essentially, it needs to be registered in the registry, accept the [login to view URL] call from the browser, open a file save dialog and then display a progress dialog while downloading the file. It MUST be written in Visual C++ V6 with ATL and minimum dependencies. It MUST be installable into a Windows system so that it uses the built in interface in IE to automatically download whatever the user decides to download from the net.
The emphasis is on simple, robust, understandable code, not features.
## Deliverables

3) Source code must be commented so that a professional programmer can follow what is being done.
4) Complete Ownership and all rights to modify and/or distribute the software goes to the buyer.
5) Project must be written in Microsoft Visual C++ 6.0 using ATL with minimal dependencies. No extraneous modules or 3rd party software or dll interfaces may be used.
