Request for proposal: Concept Piece Company: Shortware Software Product type: Code Generator similar in function and presentation to Codecharge. See tour pages located at: [login to view URL] for a more detailed idea. Concept: Program that makes it easy for users to generate simple web applications using Shorthand 1x or PHP. End result of project would have at least two aspects or areas. They are as follows: [login to view URL] user interface. Project style format that allows users to save projects and export web pages to the languages they specify. The user interface should also allow for the creation of multiple web pages that link together and submit data back and forth between them.?? [login to view URL] Templates A language template would be a text file containing the language behaviors that are used for that language, and markers that allow the program to see and read them. The program should initially support Shorthand 1.1 and PHP. Stipulations: Program needs to be expandable for anyone to create and use their own language templates. Program needs to be novice friendly, and relatively easy to use. Language Preference: Ideally, I think C# or VB.NET would be a good fit for this project because it would need to take advantage of the Windows environment efficiently. I could also see doing this project in C++ if dependency issues are addressed. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Installation package that will install the software (in ready-to-run condition) on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) Complete ownership and distribution copyrights to all work purchased. ## Platform * WINDOWS
