I have some code that will add a button to one of three browsers, ie, netscape, and mozilla. When a user clicks the button, I want the current page soure written to a file. You need to have a solid background in c++ and mfc to complete this project. I do not want a vb programmer. I need a dll written that does the following: ------------------------------------------------------- Internet Exploere 1. Copies the source of the current page in it to a local file. It absolutely cannot requery an active page, it MUST get the page source from the browser as it may be a secure site that the user is logged into. Here is what need to be done in that regards. Get Document object (IWebBrowser2::get_Document), query for IPersistStreamInit or IPersistFile, call Save. You can use CreateStreamOnHGlobal to get an in-memory IStream for IPersistStreamInit. more references for this task [login to view URL] ------------------------------------------------------- Mozilla and Netscape 2. The second part copies the source of the current page to a local file from mozilla and netscape. Again, you cannot go to the page location and do an http request, you need to get the downloaded page source. Here is a method to use in xul: var string = XMLSerializer().serializeToString(document); The following will talk about serialize to files. [login to view URL]
