Hello,
I need an experienced Amazon Web Services developer to create the following application.
Input: User will enter an Amazon Seller ID.
Process: Return the name, ASIN/ISBN, price and sales rank of every product currently being sold by this Seller ID and the price of the same product as sold by the next highest seller. Calculate the difference of the 2 prices. Sort by this difference in ascending order.
Output example (please display data horizontally across page - this is just to illustrate the data I need displayed):
Product Name: Men are from Mars
ASIN/ISBN: 0060574216
Price: $2.99
Next Highest Seller Name: Larry's Books
Next Highest Seller Price: $5.99
Price Difference: $3.00
Sales Rank: 166,710
Product Name: Spiderman Soundtrack
ASIN/ISBN: B000063208
Price: $1.99
Next Highest Seller Name: Tom's CDs
Next Highest Seller Price: $2.99
Price Difference: $1.00
Sales Rank: 85,756
etc....
Things to consider:
1) In many cases, thousands of items will be returned as those being sold by the inputed Seller ID - are we limited by the daily/monthly data limitation imposed by AWS?
2) Because of the amount of returned data, is "timing out" an issue? I'm assuming the data would be retrieved as a batch followed by making the calculations and sorting locally?
I am open to any platform for development/display.
Finally, please be sure that this project can technically be completed before bidding. It does not appear complicated, but the AWS data restrictions could present problems. I just want to make sure it is a do-able project before we get a week into it and realize it cannot be done. Thank you!
