I would need a script that I can implement on landing pages. Process described below.
A visitor clicks on my ad on [login to view URL]
Ad has a campaign parameter/attribute attached to it so the user ends up at this page: [login to view URL] which is a conversion page (a form, purchase, sign up, etc)
However, there are other links on that page such as [login to view URL]
or
If the user goes to these pages the parameter will be lost, so when he comes back to the [login to view URL] page and fills out the lead-gen form, his response will not be appropriately recorded in the right campaign.
I'm looking for a solution, that will retain that ?cid=123 parameter if the visitor ends up going to the product or price page.
Hi, the quickest method would be to dynamically append to the links what the ad ID was, so when they click on another page, that link parameter follows along. I can get this to you by tomorrow if you'd like.
Hi!
I could fix this for you using a POST header (instead of the GET you're *probably* using now). So I'd have to rewrite the affiliate recipient-page.
But let me just check that I can solve the problem using this method, just for being sure.
In any case, if these problems occur, I'll bid the same amount.
Sincerely,
Tobias Andersen
