I need to make it easier to add articles to my website, the HomeDesignDirectory.com.au.?
Currently articles are submitted by our writers as MS-Word documents, then converted to XHTML using DreamWeaver.? It's a slow tedious process, and a waste of my time.
Given that all our articles use the same template and styles I thought it would be great (if I had the time, which I do not) to create an online editing tool so that my writers could enter their articles directly online, where the new files (using the standard template) would be stored on the server awaiting editing approval and then moved manually (by me) to the appropriate spot when I'm happy with the article.
I envisage? a "dummy article" appearing which writers then modify by clicking on the appropriate area, and when they are done they press a "save" button that saves the file and sends me an email (using PHP).? They should be able edit existing headings and paragraphs and add new headings and paragraphs as they need.
I will include a moke-up as an attachement.
