I'm looking for a fully customisable CMS + ecommerce solution.
**NOTE: We are going to build it ourselves, we just need the advice from experienced coders on the best package.**
I already have a website in operation with a basket and custom backend solution but would like to change the entire website/checkout/basket.
It must use PHP/Mysql
**At the moment I'm looking at wordpress, joomla, drupal and need someone with experience in ALL these systems to choose the right package for us.**
I am aware that wordpress is mainly for blogging but it can have an ecommerce solution - this does not need to be free, I'm willing to spending money if it is worthwhile.
Requirements below:
1. SEO is a primary concern, and we need to ensure that we can fully customise titles, descriptions etc..
2. built in or plugin shopping cart/checkout solution with sagepay
3. management functions (ie managing products/offers) can be easily added. ie we may want to build a specific advert placement, which can place banners on certain pages. I need to know what is involved in writing our own tools and what languages we need to know (PHP, Jquery, Mysql...)
4.I need a system that can easily allow us to create
multiple websites easily after it has been customised, so I need to be able to change CSS and SEO easily
So what I would like to know is what in your experience is better? you need to look at all the requirements and give us specific plus and minuses for each cms system - your research will help me decide on this important decision. If you have any further questions please let me know.
