Change magento plugin

We have a magento plugin that basically provides an api, so we can read and update products from the magento shopping cart where the plugin is installed. As part of an activation procedure, the plugin contacts our server to recieve a token that can be used later when the users dashboard is shown. We have 5 task that should be changed/implemented on the plugin 1. Change the activation url, so we call another address on activation 2. Fix a problem with reading products. Currently we also return products which are deleted. These should not be returned 3. Extend activation request, so it supplies information about the version of the shop system 4. When forwarding to users dashboard basic http authentication should be used instead of params in the url 5. Change plugin so it does not open the users dashboard in a new url The source for the plugin cab be obtained by requesting in a private message
