data scraping and manipulation

Hi.. I am looking for a script or server side software which would perform the following actions... 1. At a time set by webmaster each day the scraper program is to go to a web page specified by the webmaster and retrieve some currency price data (maybe by a common scrape type method where you can specify anything bewteen A and B in the source code of the said site).. 2. once the data is retrieved the currency prices need to have some calculations performed on them and then the results displayed on a page or pages on my website....page to be specified by webmaster... 3. Once data is retrieved it could either store the data in a mysql table then pull the data out again - perform the calculations and display results....or....scrape the data - perform calculations and display all in one go.... 4. the program/script need to be able to do this process for about 10 different currencies at a time and also a similar thing for stock prices....it would be prefered if the script/prog was customisable in a way that the webmaster can point it any website he likes...retrieve as much or as little data as he likes..and customis the calculations performed on the data too... maybe thats asking to much?...? ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform My server is a linux server..Im not sure of exact spec, but its v good and updated regularly so cant forsee any problems there..
