It's hard to estimate amount of effort needed for this task because ... I know how most of code looks like (quality), however it might be that this is something simple and trivial. What errors you are getting while trying to import? Parsing 17k lines should be really quick and simple and it's very unlikely that you ran out of resources, so maybe you could send me that script to take a look?
