App or Webpage Solution

We currently have a order system which runs on a SQL database. Currently, when an urgent order is added to the system, phone calls have to be made to the warehouse so that they see the order urgency etc. I want to streamline that a little bit. So, I want a solution that checks the SQL table for a new order at pre-defined time intervals (every 5 mins or something), checks that any new order is also classed as an urgent order and people need alerting (this would probably be achieved by staff entering a 3 letter prefix to any order number that the solution would check for), if the order checks out to be new and urgent, the system then plays a sound and flashes the screen until someone from the warehouse clicks an 'accept order' button on the app/webpage. Once 'Accept Order' has been pressed the solution will then ignore that particular Sales Order on all subsequent transactions, if it has been actioned on the stock system or not.
