Using cURL PHP library, build n HTTP client who can be used as "middle man" to send and receive HTTP requests and manage them.
Example:
A browser client send a requests for file "my_file" to the HTTP client.
The HTTP client send a request to another server (remote server) with the same request. This server answers (with the file, with error or does not answer at all).
The HTTP client fetch the answer, modify the headers and send it back to the browser client. If error occured, send the error to the browser client.
List of requirements:
1. handle GET requests
2. handle POST requests
3. handle HEAD requests
4. redirect cURL through given proxy server
5. parse cookies sent from browser and add them to the request
6. receive cookies from remote server and pass them to the browser client
7. override cookies sent by the proxy server (hide the proxy from the browser client)
8. override cookies sent by the server that is hosting the HTTP client
9. handle file uploads
10. handle downloads
The final result will have to be able to work with Wordpress, Joomla, phpBB, wiki and gallery2.
We will provide development and testing environments so coder need only to upload via FTP.
Code must be written in classes, PHP version 5.1.6 (regardless the test and dev environment PHP versions).
Most of the features above, if not all of them are already implemented in a class "httpclient" available on the development environment and also here:
